Bible Study on Genesis 37 – We learned about how Jacob’s sin ultimately led to Joseph’s brothers’ sins. This domino effect of sin started with one person but affected many others. On the flip side, if we live our lives for God, we can start a positive chain reaction which can reach out to the many people around us.

We had a great time of praise, sharing, and fellowship with a bonfire at La Jolla Beach.

**This quarter we will be having our regular bible studies every Friday at Center Hall, Room 113 at 7:30 pm.

Look no more! Many of our Searchlight members attend a local church close to campus called Koinonia Community Baptist Church. Worship services are held at 5 pm on Sundays. For more info, go to www.kcbcsd.org

We will be having our bible study this Friday at La Jolla Beach. We will be studying about the life of Joseph in the book of Genesis. Join us for some praise around the bonfire as we roast hot dogs and marshmallows! We’ll be meeting at Center Hall, Room 113 at 7 pm.

Hungry for a late night snack? We’re going to make a pho’n run to Pho La Jolla. We’ll be meeting at Center Hall, Room 113 at 7:00 pm.

Thursday, 9-24 – Mexican food @ Roberto’s

Craving carne asada fries? Bring a hungry stomach. We’ll provide the rides. We’ll be meeting at Center Hall, Room 113 at 7:00 pm.

Friday, 9-25 – Bible Study & Bonfire

Come join us for our first bible study at La Jolla Beach. We’ll be kicking off the quarter with a bonfire, roasting hot dogs and s’mores, while we praise and have bible study. This quarter we will be studying the book of Genesis. We’ll be meeting at Center Hall, Room 113 at 7:00 pm.

Sunday, 9-27 – Si See Sea of San Diego!

New to San Diego? Come join us for a fun-filled tour of the beautiful city of San Diego. We’ll be touring Mount Soledad which hosts a 360 degree view of the city. Next, we’ll do some seal watching at La Jolla Cove. We’ll be meeting at Center Hall, Room 113 at 1:00.
